Hopes and Dreams

It's a new year!

I told myself that I have NO said resolutions this year, afterall I ALWAYS break them!

So, instead of resolutions I am instead making hopes and dreams. Sounds lots nicer doesn't it?!? These hopes and dreams are a HUGE array of things, but one of them starts right here and at my "professional" blog job!!!

When I always thought about being a 'writer', first thing that came to my head is "I will NEVER ever be able to write a book!!! EVER!!" but I have come to the realization that I DON'T HAVE TO WRITE A BOOK! I can blog!!! I can work that until I make something of it!! I never know what could fall into my hands if I take this seriously!! My "professional" blog is an opportunity! One that I would have never dreamed of getting in the first place! Yet, I took a chance, sent an email, got a response-not so good either, sent another e-mail, no response, sent another one and wallah response! I don't know if they were sick of hearing me or realized that I was SERIOUS about this and they decided to give me a chance. What is it hurting them, it is purely volunteer. But that is okay. As a writer friend told me, you would be stupid not to accept it!!! She also told me that I should be proud of this gig! And people, she knows what she's talking about!!!

With that being said, I am hoping that good things are going to be coming my bloggy way. I am dreaming of a time when I have more than 15 followers on here and 38 on my Facebook page!!! GO HERE TO 'LIKE' ME!!!
