Okay...here it goes.
I have been asked to write a blog that will be printed to the public!! PUBLIC. Did you hear that?!?!? P-U-B-L-I-C! Can we say escared? Can we say 'what am I getting myself into'?? Can we say nerves are totally shot?? Can we say 'Writers block ALREADY and I haven't even started writing it yet'?
HOLY COW!!!
Anywho...I have been asked to send in a sample blog on the subject that I will write about.
HERE. IS. MY. PROBLEM.
I have been given the go ahead to write about being a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom), things I do or tips or article that I find helpful. OR...OR...what I feed my family, how it is NOT in the least expensive, my budget, when I try new recipes, how they went over and all that jazz.
SO....
What do you as the P-U-B-L-I-C (yikers) think I should write about...
HMMMMMMM....wonder if every so often I can combine them??? Ya know, SAHM do cook. THAT is part of being a SAHM!

That is so exciting!!!!! Do you have to post every day? Not sure if I have any suggestions or not though. I am just as "blocked" as you. I guess I don't concider my life as a stay at home mom that intersting....maybe just (if you have to do it daily or weekly) Do a catagory a week.....For example...Food week and blog about recp and budgests etc...Then cleaning week....your cleaning must haves, budget,etc.....I don't know.......BUT I AM REALLY EXCITED FOR YOU!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting Steph. You will do great. Just write about you life. What we see as 'ordinary' others will be intrigued by. Just look at all those reality TV shows. I'm sure Kate Gosling just thought she was a SAHM with a bunch of kids and look how many tuned into see them.

Where are you writing for? Like the newspaper? Maybe you could write about being a SAHM to kids in different stages in their lives and how it's so different...

I would love if the public wanted me to write for them! That is AWESOME Stephanie! Congratulations! Since it seems you like to cook, I would do easy to make SAHM mom recipes. Kind of a "How-to". Take pictures with each step!
