Ohhhh. I have found some GREAT finds!!! YAY!
Yesterday was the Mission sale. It was C-R-A-Z-Y! People EVERY WHERE!! I was on the verge of a panic/anxiety attack. I had to walk out. People are so flippin rude. Running into you, pushing you, pouting if you are moving to slow. Needless to say, IT PISSED ME OFF! Heaven forbid you don't get some special deal, something for nothing. Half of the idiots probably could be on the television show Hoarders. I was there looking for neat, cheap, fixable/paintable stuff to decorate my house with. I love finding stuff and then "fixing" them up. When I did craft shows I would go trashin' or to yard sales and bring them home and make them look like they should have came out of a magazine. EVERYTHING sold. I made good money. It was alllll good! =)
My treasures I got were....
1)A little wooden table with detail, right now it is painted black. I have something in mind for it.
2)2 wooden bowls. 1 is round and 1 is oblong and HUGE! Ohhh I can't wait to fancy them up.
3)A big metal/tin tall bucket thingy with a curved handle.
*I will definitely take before and after pics and post later this week!*
Big Daddy got a few good things too! He did get "ripped" off though. Bought a black light bar thingy for his Halloween to do and it doesn't work, AT ALL. He was soooo upset, but then said "Oh well, I guess my $$ just went to a good cause." =( He paid $3 for it too. Oh well, sometimes you win some and sometimes you lose some. Isn't that right Mrs. "I go to Salvation Army and buy a basket for $1.50 and it turns out it's a Longaberger"?!?! ;)
Big Daddy and I went to a few yard sales this morning. Again, I found some good stuff. Yard Sales are a hit and miss kinda thing. We have been several weekends and have not found much of anything. And then sometime we hit a sale that is perfect =) Today I found...Moo Cow Slippers for THE GIRL $2, Cowboy Boots for THEBOY#2 $.50, A purse/bag for me $3, Some brand new sandals with a good not break an ankle or keel myself heel $1, 4 Debbie Macomber books $1, Potato Masher $.50, an old electric tree topper wreath $.75, a straw dispenser for $.75!! Good deals.
We were sick of yard sales, so we decided to come home and who is sitting in my drive way but one of the zookeepers!!! AND SHE BUYED ME SOMETHING!!!! She is the infamous pickle pizza lady! And when she whipped out some pickles one day she had this AWESOME pickle holder/drainer thingy ma bob! It was Tupperware! TUPPERWARE! I fell in love with it instantly. And I was totally jealous. JEALOUS of that fine pickle invention. I had never ever seen the likes of it...and NOW...I HAVE ONNNNEEEEE! *happy pickler keeper dance*
Have a GREAT rest of the weekend y'all!! !
Ohhh and for those of you keeping track....*says quietly and under breath for fear of being beaten* ahem zookeeper, I have blogged twice now...in 2 days! HOLLAH!
